As production schedules evolved throughout the day, providing Quality Control teams with earlier visibility into batch progress would enable laboratory resources to be planned more proactively. Likewise, giving Manufacturing greater insight into testing priorities would help both departments respond more effectively to changing production schedules.
In some cases, limited real-time visibility between departments meant laboratory equipment, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems, could remain allocated to samples that had not yet reached the laboratory. By creating a more connected operational workflow, Polpharma identified an opportunity to improve equipment utilisation, strengthen communication and support more efficient IPC planning across both departments.
The solution
Rather than introducing another standalone application, Polpharma expanded its existing EviView platform to create a connected workflow between Manufacturing and Quality Control.
By integrating directly with Oracle ERP and digitising IPC planning, both departments now work from the same operational information.
Production schedules, batch progress and IPC activities are automatically synchronised, reducing manual administration while giving every team access to live operational updates.

Manufacturing Orders are automatically synchronised from Oracle ERP into EviView and mapped into units of Standard Work, allowing Quality Control teams to see expected IPC activities before production begins.
Instead of manually coordinating sample schedules, laboratory teams can proactively plan testing activities based on live production information.
Live Communication Between Departments
As Manufacturing progresses through production, updates automatically flow into the Quality Control dashboard.
If production is delayed, planned IPC testing times adjust automatically. Likewise, if Quality Control experiences delays, that information is immediately visible to Manufacturing.
The result is transparent, two-way communication without relying on manual updates or additional administration.
